Hey Scott,

This seems like a really relevant post for me. Facebook is one of those mediums I use in a social way but never seem to organize the time to really work on. I know my Facebook presence could be much better. My biggest hurdle two months into this new blog site is getting doctors, or anybody, to sign up for the email list which is really important to me. I want email subscribers so I can promote the book I have coming up. That's an entirely different story in and of itself.

Good read buddy...

Thanks for that.

Without engagement you really have nothing in social engagement. Numbers are great but what is more important is do those numbers lead to interactions. More interactions will lead to a strong monetization strategy.

Engagement is the best part of your post. I see many people in forums wondering why they are not getting any traffic from social networking. They just set up their accounts a follow a few people without really communicating with them. From now on I will just post a link to this blog post, hopefully they will get it. Good job
