top sales booksWe are all in sales and this is another one of those lists that’s really hard to order. Mainly because the ability to sell your idea or thinking to someone else or a market is such a critical skill. What makes these books stand out though is their focus on mastering sales through time tested techniques. Often marketing and sales is lumped together but both of those activities are distinct enough that they shouldn’t be. Sure to market you have to know how to sell, it’s been said that marketing and advertising is sales at a distance. But to “sell” you also have to know marketing techniques that are often glossed over in many of these books. Well with that disclaimer in place the books that follow have helped us immensely in the fine art of the sale. As usual we’ve read each and every one of these books and highly recommend them, we often have given some of these books to clients when building out boots on the ground sales plans.
