Escape will cancel and close the window. Indy Parks, which is in the midst of signing off on a new master plan for Broad Ripple Park, has said not yet – not until they’re ready to break ground on something to replace it.

But they’re clearly studying all options. Eyewitness News has learned Indy Parks is eyeing a new partnership at Broad Ripple park that could lead to a new pool.

Documents show in early February, Indy Parks issued a Request for Information “for partnership opportunities for Health Care Organizations,” specifically for “the conceptual design, development, construction and financing of a new family center and health care facility” in one of the city’s current parks. That park is Broad Ripple Park.

So far, according to an Indy Parks spokesperson, Community Health Network (CHN) is the only one to respond. Its project description calls for demolishing the current family center, which is small and aging. Read more from wthr.com…
