iOS 11.2 is officially out. Apple released the iOS update on Saturday, capping just about month of beta testing. It’s now available to download for all eligible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. Most notably, iOS 11.2 finally marks the release of Apple Pay Cash, the company’s new peer-to-peer payment system. Apple Pay Cash allows iOS users to send and receive funds via iMessage, and stores received payments in a new Cash card in the Wallet. Not all users have access to Apple Pay Cash at the time of this writing, however it’s expected to be rolled out to all users in the following days. iOS 11.2 also allows iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X users to take advantage of 7.5W fast wireless charging, opposed to the older and slower 5W standard.
