People and companies in the local business community Chocolatier Marc Forrat serves up truffles and chocolates, of course, but also sweet and savoury crepes, charcuterie, French pastries and fondue at Forrat’s Chocolate Lounge on North Centre Road in Masonville. Mike Hensen/The London Free Press Marc Forrat, London’s renowned chocolatier, has moved into the Masonville market.

Forrat’s Chocolate Lounge opened on Valentine’s Day in a plaza at 60 North Centre Rd. just east of Masonville Place mall.

The bistro has chic black and red decor with lots of booths and couches. The entrance features a huge mural made of Chocolatier Magazine covers.

In addition to Forrat’s usual selection of truffles and other fine chocolate the bistro offers sweet and savoury crepes made with flour from Arva Flour Mill. There’s also charcuterie, French pastries and fondue.

The lounge is licensed and offers a variety of decadent sweet martinis including chocolate. There’s a selection of wines and local beers including London-made Anderson Craft Ales on draught, Forrat still operates his original shop in Covent Garden Market. Read more from…
