Staff and students on a digital marketing course are celebrating after 100 per cent pass rate. The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Foundation Certificate in Marketing, which runs at Coleg Cambria’s Northop site, aims to help people acquire the marketing and business knowledge which will help improve their employers’ triple bottom line.
All the course’s students, who work locally, attended the marketing lectures and workshops and completed a work-based assignment which gave them an opportunity to apply the practical marketing knowledge they had acquired in class for the benefit of their employer. The assignments, which focused on improving organisational performance through digital marketing, were externally marked by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional marketing body.
For the second year running, all CIM students at Coleg Cambria achieved the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing qualification, first time. Stephanie Littler, CIM programme leader and lecturer at Coleg Cambria said: “I am so pleased with the 100% pass rate on the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing course.
“The results for the course’s exam assessment were particularly stunning and I am delighted with all the distinction and merit passes achieved overall and the positive learner feedback received. “I personally feel CIM courses are the best marketing courses local people can do.
For the past 20 years I have observed CIM courses providing an excellent return on investment for the employer and enhancing the careers and lives of learners. “A particularly powerful development is the CIM students’ increased business confidence and improved research and communication skills which in turn can lead to marketing innovations and insight.” Local people can join the next CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing course from 17 April 2018 at the college’s brand new Cambria Business School at its Northop campus, near Mold.
