Staff and students on a digital marketing course are celebrating after 100 per cent pass rate. The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Foundation Certificate in Marketing, which runs at Coleg Cambria’s Northop site, aims to help people acquire the marketing and business knowledge which will help improve their employers’ triple bottom line.

All the course’s students, who work locally, attended the marketing lectures and workshops and completed a work-based assignment which gave them an opportunity to apply the practical marketing knowledge they had acquired in class for the benefit of their employer. The assignments, which focused on improving organisational performance through digital marketing, were externally marked by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional marketing body.

For the second year running, all CIM students at Coleg Cambria achieved the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing qualification, first time. Stephanie Littler, CIM programme leader and lecturer at Coleg Cambria said: “I am so pleased with the 100% pass rate on the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing course.

“The results for the course’s exam assessment were particularly stunning and I am delighted with all the distinction and merit passes achieved overall and the positive learner feedback received. “I personally feel CIM courses are the best marketing courses local people can do.
