virtual reality or VR refers to the use of computer technologies that create realistic images, sounds and sensations that reference a real or imaginary environment. users are inserted into these environments via specialized displays screens and other devices.

augmented reality or AR is the live manipulation of a real world environment using computer generated sensory input, in which the users view of reality is modified either directly or indirectly. photography studio ‘boysplaynice’ captured these photos around the city of logroño, spain, at the international festival of architecture and design, concéntrico.

plastique fantastique answered the prompt with a giant inflatable ring — fit only for a piece of architecture. boysplaynice interestingly photographed the ring before and after inflation — further stressing the ephemeral nature of plastique fantastique’s work.
